Specs: Reputable Large Law Firm

Supporting one Sr. Partner who used to have a very heavy caseload. There will be heavy client contact. His secretary will handle all clients, all of his scheduling and his travel arrangements. He has a great personality and does not mind sharing the secretary with the other 2 in the assignment. The other Partner is a Jr. Partner and has a steady work flow. He does some of his own computer work. The Paralegal is very busy. Almost 50% of her work is doing heavy documents, revisions, etc. The position requires extensive revisions to thick Real Estate Documents. Will utilize expanded Word skills to make revisions and major changes. Overall they need their secretary to take ownership of her desk and to handle all administrative tasks. They need someone who is able to work at a fast pace. Requirements: 70 wpm net. Must pass Spelling, Grammar & Vocabulary Tests- Must pass at 85%. Must have 5+ years of Commercial Real Estate experience. Must have large firm experience. Must have expanded Word skills. Must have experience supporting a busy assignment. Must be able to multi-task and support 2 Partners and 1 busy Paralegal. Good, pleasant personality to deal with the clients

Position: Floor Practice Support Specialist $50K+
Specs: Top 10 Law Firm

This position mainly involves overflow legal support to attorneys, including typing, extensive formatting of legal documents, entering attorney time, making travel arrangements, doing expense reports, interacting with clients and completing special projects. Candidates must have 3+ years of recent Legal Secretarial or Word Processing experience. Candidates must have a thorough working knowledge of MS Word, including MS Word Styles. They must type 55 WPM, and have experience with PowerPoint and Excel.

Position: Corporate Legal Secretary $45 – 55
Specs: Top 20 Firm

This position supports three partners. Work will include light billing responsibilities, client contact, administrative duties, transcribing, Shorthand along with the legal secretarial responsibilities. It is a good group. Qualified candidates type 65wpm, have a stable work history and excellent communication skills. Candidates must also have 3 years experience as a legal secretary in Corporate Law along with Word and Document management skills.

Position: Litigation Paralegal $45-60
Specs: Top 20 Firm

This position is responsible for assisting the litigation team in all phases of discovery and trial preparation. Duties include assisting in document review and management, privilege logs, research document production, trial preparation, arbitrations, general litigation matters, court filings and special projects as assigned. Other tasks include cite checking, drafting documents, preparation of witness files, and review of testimony for relevance to specific facts or issues. Will also assist in creating and maintaining databases for use in the management of complex litigation and large discovery matters. Requirements: Candidates must possess excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple complex tasks concurrently in a professional and efficient manner, the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and be willing to work overtime and travel as needed. Must have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years Paralegal experience, preferably with large trial preparation experience, required; paralegal certificate a plus. Skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, Summation as well as legal research using Westlaw and LexisNexis required. Knowledge of trial preparation software such as Trial Director a plus.

Position: IP(Prosecution) Floater Legal Secretary $up to 50K
Specs: Mid-Sized Law Firm

1-2 years of legal secretarial experience. Applicants must have patent prosecution experience. Must have good computer skills and a great attitude. Must pass Typing (65wpm), Word, Excel, PowerPoint and proofreading. Candidates will also be tested on their knowledge of patent prosecution, advanced Word usage and spelling.

This small law firm has a wonderful team environment. Position is supporting a single assignment. The position will involve calendar maintenance, client contact and legal secretarial support. There will be a good amount of dictation tapes. Requirements: Must have a minimum of 3 years of Defense Litigation experience (Prefer Insurance Defense), type a minimum of 65 wpm, have excellent references, proficient computer skills and a stable work history. Should have strong proofreading skills and excellent spelling ability. Must have a positive and independent personality.

This small law firm has a wonderful family feel to it. Position is supporting a single assignment. The position will involve travel arrangements, client contact, administrative and legal secretarial support. Requirements: Must have a minimum of 3 years of Insurance Defense Litigation experience, type a minimum of 65 wpm, have excellent references, proficient computer skills and a stable work history.

Candidates must have a minimum of three years secretarial or word processing experience, preferably in a legal environment. They must type 85wpm with 95% accuracy. Candidates must be skilled creating and editing styles in Word, and able to produce and modify auto-numbering schemes and tables of contents and authorities. Intermediate skills in Excel and PowerPoint are also required. Qualified candidates must be thorough, conscientious, and possess the ability to accurately handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma required; college coursework is desirable. Previous Help Desk experience is a plus.

Position: Marketing Database Assistant $Mid 20’s – Low 30’s

Position is working closely with attorneys and their assistants to insure the integrity of client information. Interfaces with IT staff as necessary to maintain the database. Position will involve updating information and running reports from the database. This position manages the billing process and the billing specialists in the local Chicago office and will maintain higher end support for certain clients and attorneys as assigned. The manager will develop service levels for each coordinator or specialist position by assigning and coordinating work flow and support among billing clerks, billing specialists, attorneys, secretaries and national finance department colleagues. The manager will insure timely production, posting and reporting of bills, will participate in the development of national revenue realization standards and will maintain current records of bills sent to clients. Position: Payroll Specialist (Temporary 12+ week assignment – May 2006)

The candidate must have at least 2 years of Payroll experience. Responsibilities include processing multi state, multi payroll. Etime experience is a plus. This person will assist in all aspects of payroll processing, including G/L allocation and account reconciliation. A successful candidate will be detail- and multitask-oriented, be able to work under pressure and have a minimum of 1 year experience working in an automated payroll environment utilizing ADP. Excel experience a plus.

Position: Part-Time Telemarketer (Work at home opportunity) $10.00 an hour
Specs: Established Lead Generating Organization (Internet Based)

This position is telemarketing sales. Candidates will be required to work a minimum of 25 hours a week. Candidates are welcome to work as many hours as they would like Monday through Sunday from 9:00am to 8:00pm. The computer will automatically dial the phone number. Calls are made to warm leads who have requested information on their website. Candidates will be given scripts to work from and their progress will be track through the success of the calls through a point system. Candidates can have a higher earning potential beyond the hourly pay if they hit a certain level of points. Candidates must supply their own computer and they must have a DSL line. They will also be responsible for purchasing their own headset that will plug into their computer (cost is approx $30).
